Position ProfileThe TSE is responsible for on-site installation, maintenance and repair of customer IT network products and systems, which may include network infrastructure hardware (i.e. Servers, Workstations, Racks, Routers, Firewalls, and Backup Solutions) and software networked configurations. TSEs are a vital link to the sales organization, in providing sales lead opportunities and/or feedback based on customer usage, change in business needs and other areas of Tech Services focus
May serve as a team member or team leader within own work area or on a cross-functional team. May have service responsibility based on assigned geographic territory and/or individual customer.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
-Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness to all business needs.
-Ability to work well with little supervision
-Responsible for responding to service calls generated by the Managed Services Operations Center (MSOC), which carry the highest priority of all dispatched calls. TSEs will contact the customer immediately to provide confirmation of the dispatch and an arrival time.
-Complete network assessment forms
-Meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit expectations.
-Ensures high-level customer satisfaction by providing end-user training on implemented solutions and advising customers on preventative maintenance procedures and configurations that may impact product and network performance.
-Providinge consultative assistance for complex MFP / network issues. Depending on technical expertise and certifications, TSEs may be required to assist with projects outside of their immediate areas of responsibility.
-Utilize sophisticated diagnostic tools, service aids, product schematics, and any other available product information in the assessment and resolution of network equipment failures.
-Interfaces with customer information technology organizations to resolve network problems.
-Maintain their technical certifications, as well as obtain the expertise and knowledge on product & solution training specific to the needs of their function.
-Trains Technology Services personnel on IT Services offerings and solution identification to help improve/increase their proficiency and effectiveness in the application of diagnostic techniques and solutions.
-Interface and train with less experienced service technicians, and assist in completion of certifications in line with their career path.
-Provide comprehensive technical support on advanced technologies in the IT network environment and can assist in the development and delivery of technology and skills development seminars.
-Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)
-MCITP Enterprise Administrator or MCSE Certification required.
-A minimum of 4 years experience in designing, installing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting network systems is preferred

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of confidential health records. Analyzes medical records for quantitative and qualitative completion based on the facility’s medical staff rules and regulations, company policy, and State, Federal and other regulatory agency requirements. Performs a variety of HIMS work, such as record completion and transcription coordination, document imaging, and providing services and information to physicians and staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Conducts routine releases of health information in accordance with company policy and all state and federal laws.

2. Reviews and analyzes records for physician completion and deficiencies in accordance with JCAHO, Medical Staff and Health Information Department standards and regulations. Accurately maintains deficiencies in the records information system.

3. Resolves issues directly related to the dictation/transcription/incomplete process of completing charts in a timely and efficient manner. May perform various activities associated with the dictation/transcription of the medical record documents. Assures all logs are completed appropriately and communication is maintained with the transcription vendor. May act as liaison with external medical transcription service to monitor turnaround time of transcribed medical reports, evaluates transcribed reports and facilitates the import of reports into HIMS software system. As assigned, reviews surgery schedule each day to ensure all pre-op history and physical exams which have been dictated/transcribed and available to the operating prior to surgery. Edits transcribed reports for accuracy of patient demographics and encounter information. Researches, revises, and corrects reports according to guidelines, executes automatic import of transcribed reports from outside services at frequent intervals, imports transcribed reports which fail automatic imports.

4. Assists physicians with inquiries regarding deficiencies and the use of related software. Pulls and files medical records as required and routes records to physicians for completion in a timely manner. May perform various activities associated with the physician temporary suspension process including the identification and communication of those physician on suspension and those whose privileges have been reinstated.

5. Assists in maintaining the integrity of dictation system(s), transcription systems, and medical records databases. In facilities with an electronic medical record, performs concurrent and retrospective HIMS Doc Imaging workflow processes, including scanning, batch quality control, document verification, deficiency management and work queue processing.

6. As assigned, works with state recording processes. For birth registration, reports all facility births to the state; functions include patient contact, interviews, data abstracting from charts, data entry into State registration program, and all follow up with the parents, nurse, physicians, and staff from State offices. Issues Burial Travel permits and Death Certificates in special circumstances under authority of state registrar.

7. Performs a variety of support functions for the HIMS department. Reconciles medical record hold reports by researching problems and facilitating corrections. Provides support to coders. Serves as a backup to other staff members to ensure the department operation are efficiently and effectively maintained. As assigned, performs other administrative support functions for the department including ordering and tracking supplies, as well as answering telephones, processing requests, retrieving records and assisting in the training and orientation of new staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires the knowledge of health information practices and principles as normally demonstrated through completion of one or more years of post-high school education in medical records and information systems.
Must have one or more years of experience working with medical records and/or health information management systems. Must be able to perform and follow-up on multiple tasks and organize and prioritize work. Requires good judgment, initiative and problem-solving abilities, along with effective teamworking skills.
